Insatiable Soul

Insatiable Soul

Anoraks and Vinyl Sniffers.................they are of course worthy of there own dedicated website.....To me its is a privilege to know these people and also very handy should i need some anorak info at short notice..............
To be added to this elite club you must fit part of the following criteria:

1.These sniffers have sacrificed bedrooms to their record collections they sleep on the sofa while their seven inches snuggle under their duvets.

2.Confess to sniffing vinyl to ensure its an original and not a boot leg!

3.Admit to frequent Crate digging, occasional Barrel scraping & boot fair burrowing

4. Have compiled CDs for major record companies or supplied record sleeves for record companies to scan!

5.Have a vast knowledge of the B and C sides who was in the mix and the dogs name that slept under the table throughout the recording.

These guys are the ultimate........I give them total respect and to top the whole thing they are actually all very lovely Anoraks.....Its great to work in an industry where colleagues show such great form.

If you know someone that could achieve Vinyl Sniffing status please forward their details and a photo to Roni

What more can i say this man is Sniffer Number 1.

Quote "I consider it an absolute honour to be an insatiable soul Vinyl Sniffer. Also, it's true that whenever I'm in the States I can actually smell a potential vinyl stash - sometimes from several miles away.

My best vinyl sniff ever was in Denver, Colorado about 25 miles outside town when I sniffed an interesting Mall with a Jukebox shop in it (the 1940 Jukebox Co). So I checked it out and found 1.5 million vinyl 45's on sale @ 25 cents each in the unit next door. I bought 2,800 records and lived in style for the next 2 years!"

Brian Mac-also known in the circle as Brian Mackintosh!

Well he had more than his fair share of pockets in his Anorak so he was upgraded to MacKintosh!

(Pictured salivating over CD's)

Brian admits to once selling his whole record collection!!!!!...

His collection took over the Mac household, he had already filled 3 rooms and it started to creep slowly towards the kitchen pantry! Wives normally sneak in with new shoes well with Brian it was 12s, 7s, LPs and CDs.

Now after a few changes in his living arrangements Brian is replacing the whole collection bit by bit.

How can a woman expect you to choose between your two passions!!!?????

Brian can be found on his space swooning over his latest aquisition.
